My first blog.

My name is Jorge R. Serrano. I am a refugee from corporate media in exile for valuing valid cognition, believing the public airwaves belong to the public and not abiding by miss-treatment by the new generation of MTV VJ's pretending to be journalists. These animals love jingoism and talking points like the desert loves the rain. Most of them have a perverse fixation with saluting whatever is raised up the proverbial flagpole. 

My compulsive pursue of valid cognition, knowing how things really are, peaked after learning about the many discrepancies between general public knowledge and real history. This I first began while studying international affairs and later seeking alternate sources of information other than mainstream corporate media. The validation for my mistrust for corporate media came from dwelling inside what I came to call the entrails of the beast while working for corporate media. Now, life among the ignorant majority feels as if I took the dreaded "The Matrix" red pill.

Hunter S. Thompson wrote about corporate TV media: "Mainly we are dealing with a profoundly degenerate world, a living web of foulness, greed and treachery...which is also the biggest real business around and impossible to ignore. You can't get away from TV. It's everywhere. The hog is in the tunnel." I agree and this is my first shot across the bow of their stinking ship.
